Master Class Competitions
with Carol Wincenc
January 17 & 18, 2020; Applications Due December 7, 2019
The Stony Brook University Flute Studio is pleased to host two master classes with SBU flute professor, Carol Wincenc, in conjunction with the Flute New Music Consortium New Music Festival taking place January 17-19, 2020, on the Stony Brook University Campus.

High School Division
Open to any flutist in grades 9-12 during the 2019-20 academic year
Recorded Round Repertoire: a piece or movement of your choice not to exceed 10 minutes.
To Apply:
Submit an online application with a link to an unedited video recording your piece by December 7, 2019
Selected finalists will be invited to perform in a live master class with Carol Wincenc.

Collegiate Division
Open to any flutist enrolled in a collegiate music program (undergraduate or graduate) during the 2019-20 academic year
Recorded round repertoire - Concerto in G Major, mvt. I, by W.A. Mozart
To Apply:
Submit an online application with a link to an unedited video recording of the required piece (piano accompaniment optional) by December 7, 2019
Pay the online application fee of $15
